On December 17, 2013, Shanghai EasyFinance Management Consulting Co., Ltd. (EasyFinance) and the Institute of Management Accountants (IMA) jointly established the China Management Accounting Research Center of Excellence (CRCE). The center is intended to support financial management transformation in Chinese enterprises and help organizations create greater value through the application of management accounting tools.

As Chinese companies expand and their operations become more complex, finance functions face growing demands in budgeting, cost management, performance evaluation, and management decision-making.
