马爽 · Founder of EasyFinance (安越咨询)
Ma Shuang founded EasyFinance in Shanghai in 2004 with a specific conviction: that the gap between enterprise strategy and operational results is fundamentally a management accounting problem — and that closing it requires both clearer frameworks and better tools.
Over more than two decades, she has worked with 33,000+ enterprises across China, developing and refining the methodologies that form the core of EasyFinance's practice.
Alongside this practical work, Ma Shuang has led research into how management accounting is actually practiced — and underutilized — inside Chinese enterprises. She is the author of multiple management accounting research reports examining how companies at different stages of development approach budgeting, cost management, performance analysis, and financial decision-making. This research has informed both EasyFinance's curriculum and its advisory work, and has contributed to the broader effort to advance management accounting practice in China.
Her collaboration with IMA (Institute of Management Accountants) spans this research orientation — EasyFinance and IMA have worked together on research into Chinese management accounting practices, with findings published through IMA's institutional channels.
In recent years, Ma Shuang's attention has shifted toward a question that has become central to enterprise management: what makes AI transformation succeed or fail inside real organizations?
Her observation, drawn from working directly with companies deploying AI agents, is that the limiting factor is rarely the AI technology itself. It is the management logic that the AI is expected to operate within — the rules, thresholds, accountability structures, and decision frameworks that must be explicit before an AI agent can apply them reliably.
This insight has shaped EasyFinance's approach to Finance AI Agents and Business AI Agents. Rather than deploying AI as a generic capability, EasyFinance begins with the company's management framework — the same frameworks that Strategic Financial Acumen® and Quantified Management® have been developing for two decades — and builds AI agents that operate within that specific context.
Ma Shuang writes and speaks on three themes that build on one another.

Ma Shuang writes and speaks on three connected themes: why enterprise AI transformation must start with management clarity; how enterprises extend from Finance AI Agents to Business AI Agents; and AI-native organization design — how established companies restructure work and accountability without destabilising their existing accountability structures.
